Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Steven Boi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Wilsooooon James Da Silva!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boi misses the jab.
Boi displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Boi feints a jab promting James Da Silva to slip. Boi then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. James Da Silva slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Boi fails to land with a series of punches.
James Da Silva avoids a punch combination nicely.
Boi misses with a looping right.
Boi looks to throw the jab but James Da Silva is out of range.
Boi throws a push kick but James Da Silva slaps the foot to one side.
Boi throws a nice looking combination but James Da Silva bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Boi fails to land with a series of punches.
Steven Boi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's one minute gone in the round.
James Da Silva shoots in and drives through. Boi sprawls well.
Boi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by James Da Silva.
Boi looks to land a combination but James Da Silva avoids it well.
Boi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Horrible takedown by James Da Silva or perhaps it was just good defense by Boi which made him look bad.
James Da Silva defending well as Boi loads up on a big left hand.
Boi shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. James Da Silva eats them both and turns towards Boi to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

James Da Silva closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - James Da Silva lands in his opponent's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

James Da Silva drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and James Da Silva jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
James Da Silva is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Boi can't keep his opponent in guard - James Da Silva advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
This has been an exciting period of action!

James Da Silva is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Boi is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
