Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hu Kokov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bubba Mazyck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mazyck bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Kokov is trying to get back to half guard.
Kokov is not content to let Mazyck control the position.

Mazyck decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Mazyck on the wrong end of a nice jab.

Mazyck feints and as Kokov raises his hands in defense, Mazyck changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mazyck controlling from the top position.
Kokov tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kokov lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Mazyck!
Mazyck's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Kokov lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Kokov throws a nice looking combination but Mazyck bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kokov tries to bench press Mazyck off him but Mazyck keeps the position.
Kokov gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Kokov is pressing down on Mazyck's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Kokov has his hands on Mazyck's head, controlling the position.
Mazyck wants to control from the top but Kokov keeps moving.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kokov is on top in guard.

Kokov stands up and waves to Mazyck to follow him.
Mazyck shoots in but no luck this time.
Mazyck fails with a takedown attempt.
Mazyck takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Kokov connects with a looping right hand.
Mazyck misses with a takedown attempt - Kokov sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Mazyck shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kokov is trying to defend but Mazyck finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hu Kokov dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Mazyck looks to land a combination but Kokov avoids it well.
Kokov connects with a good right hand that stumbles Mazyck. Mazyck circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
A nice combination there by Kokov.
Kokov defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mazyck.
Mazyck fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Mazyck shoots in but no luck this time.
Hu Kokov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bubba Mazyck.
Mazyck's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kokov connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Mazyck scrambles back to his feet.
Mazyck fails to land the takedown.
Mazyck shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kokov defends it nicely.
Kokov moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kokov throws a right and a left that Mazyck avoids nicely.
Mazyck is breathing heavily.
Mazyck takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Kokov lunges at Mazyck with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Mazyck's hand.

Mazyck is rocked!
BOOM! Kokov lands a beautiful left hook that drops Mazyck. Mazyck tries to recover but Kokov is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Mazyck lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
