Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jon Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ari Velazquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Velazquez comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Since the Flood- "Valor and Vengeance kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes takes one to the chin there.
Velazquez lands a nice looking body shot.
Velazquez defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Holmes.
Holmes shoots for a double leg takedown but Velazquez sprawls well. He's pushed Holmes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Velazquez changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Ari Velazquez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Velazquez drops Holmes with a beautiful combination! Holmes stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Velazquez is looking for the KO!

Holmes closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Velazquez drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Holmes's head, knocking him out cold! Velazquez is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
