The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loid throws a sloppy head kick and Winkler moves out of range easily.

Winkler gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Loid to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Loid throws a strike but Winkler rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Loid is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Loid working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Winkler.
Winkler looking to sit in guard and control but Loid gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Loid has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Loid knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Winkler on the ground.
Winkler is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Rolf Winkler has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
