Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Guqin Sona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wa Sa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sa has chosen Fat Lip as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sa fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Sona checks it well.
Sona shoots for a takedown but Sa saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Guqin Sona. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sona shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sa sprawls well. Sa wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sona gets slowly back to his feet.

It looks like Guqin Sona has been cut.

Wa Sa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sa connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Sa and Sona goes tumbling to the canvas! Sa follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Sa wants to pass the guard but Sona is defending well.
Sa working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Sa slips a nice elbow through Sona's hands, connecting with Sona's forehead.
Sa scores with a big shot! Sona's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Sona! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

Wa Sa took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
