The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goa closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ops's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Ops utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Ops is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Goa remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Goa throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ops was covering up waiting for the punch and Goa finishes the takedown easily into guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Goa accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
