The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hatake throws a head kick but Kenny moves out of range.
Hatake keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Hatake swats away the attempt to clinch by Kenny.
Hatake throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kenny's waist but Kenny gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hatake off to one side.

Kenny tries to work over Hatake's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Hatake misses with a knee to the head.
Kenny tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hatake's elbow.
A nice left hand lands by Hatake.
Hatake throws an elbow that misses.

Kenny is pressed up against the cage. Hatake has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kenny down to the mat. Kenny avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Hatake closes the distance and clinches up with Kenny, looking for a takedown. Hatake pushes Kenny against the cage but Kenny circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

After the fight, Jackson Kenny was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
