PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kiyoshi Yamada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Von Doom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Von Doom has chosen Rammstein - Du Hast as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Yamada connects with a nice short shot to Von Doom's temple.

Von Doom feints and then cracks Yamada's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Yamada down.
Yamada closes the distance and clinches up with Von Doom, looking for a takedown. Yamada pushes Von Doom against the cage but Von Doom circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Yamada or perhaps it was just good defense by Von Doom which made him look bad.

Von Doom bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Yamada's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Von Doom accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kiyoshi Yamada will probably get the nod.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Yamada, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
