Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Dias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Helio Cardozo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dias is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Emerson Jorge and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cardozo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dias circles away.
Dias is breathing heavily.
Cardozo scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Cardozo works his way into full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cardozo is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Dias to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Dias shrugs it off.
Cardozo is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Dias can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cardozo wants to finish this one by submission but Dias is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Cardozo.
Cardozo has hold of Dias's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Dias manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Cardozo quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Cardozo but it's paid off an Dias is forced to tap! Nice work by Cardozo.
