The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paniki throws a leg kick but Fran sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Fran wants to clinch up but Paniki keeps it at a distance.
Fran throws a body kick that misses.
Paniki throws a nice outside leg kick.
A bone on bone clash there as Fran blocks the leg kick.
Paniki keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Fran throws a wild body kick that Paniki sees coming a mile off.

and Paniki counters with a nice body shot.
Paniki scores with a head kick. Fran tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

It looks like Mauro Fran has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Paniki uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fran.

Paniki pivots, looking for a leg kick but Fran is out of range and Paniki settles back down.

Paniki connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Fran momentarily.
Fran fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Paniki has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Fran swings away with a leg kick that misses.
A chopping leg kick lands by Fran.
Paniki lands a leg kick that knocks Fran off balance momentarily.

and Fran counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Paniki throws a head kick but Fran moves out of range.
Paniki jabs Fran right on the nose. Fran blinks but takes it well.

Fran sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Fran throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fran misses with a straight left.
Paniki goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Fran connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Fran on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Paniki. Paniki obviously looking to wear him down.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Paniki, right into the meat.

Fran rushes Paniki and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Fran tries to throw a body punch but Paniki avoids it by throwing Fran back against the cage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Fran has Paniki pressed against the cage, preventing Paniki from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Fran tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
A left hand lands to the body for Fran.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Fran.
Fran misses with a right hand
and Paniki counters with a solid body kick.
Fran feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Paniki's calf.
Paniki sizes up Fran with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Fran misses with a body kick.
Fran misses with a low kick.
Fran throws a front kick aimed at Paniki's knee but Paniki avoids it well.
Fran throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
A punch lands to the side of Fran 's head but he takes it in his stride.
A cross from Paniki lands.
Fran tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Paniki manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Paniki throws a sloppy head kick and Fran moves out of range easily.
Fran throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Paniki cracks Fran with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
