Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Takata Cosando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sammy Sway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Takata Cosando!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sammy Sway!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sway tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cosando paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Cosando shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sway but Sway pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sway misses with a body kick.

Cosando instigates a clinch.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Cosando.

Sway gets control of Cosando's arms and successfully pulls guard. Sway will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Cosando looking to sit in guard and control but Sway gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Sway pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Cosando is keeping the position for now.

Sway is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cosando throws a nice elbow from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Cosando looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Cosando is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Sway wants to pass the guard but Cosando is keeping the position.
Cosando trying to control the position.
Cosando is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sway is controlling him.
Sway is fighting to break Cosando's control of his arms but Cosando is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Sway drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sway jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sway stands and throws Cosando's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Cosando is not content to let Sway control the position.

Sway is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Cosando looks calm but he's in trouble here. Sway gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Cosando is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Sway lets go of the hold and Cosando can pop his arm back in it's socket.
