Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tom Cat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pai Mei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mei gets caught flat footed, as Cat shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Mei trying to keep a closed guard but Cat is proving a slippery customer.
Mei looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cat is one step ahead there.
Mei is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Mei is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cat drops back looking for a leg! Mei is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mei manages to kick Cat off! Cat jumps back into Mei's guard.

Cat has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Mei is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Cat yanks on the arm and Mei is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Cat.
