Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Virgil Cid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heinrich Dussander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dussander has chosen Gary Jules - Mad World (2011 Electro Mix) as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 25 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Heinrich Dussander!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cid misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cid tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Dussander instigates a clinch.
Cid stalls.
Cid lands a right hand that snaps the head of Dussander backwards.
Cid swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A nice left hand lands by Cid.

Dussander has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Cid uses from the top position.

Dussander has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Cid is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dussander.

Dussander tries to close the distance and clinch but Cid swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Cid scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dussander doesn't seem bothered though.
Cid lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Cid avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dussander ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cid moves away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dussander looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Virgil Cid will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Dussander wants to clinch up but Cid keeps it at a distance.
Cid throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Dussander's jab looks to have found its range, popping Cid under the eye.
Cid throws a chopping leg kick but Dussander manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Cid stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cid wants it to stay on the feet.

Virgil Cid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cid throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Dussander's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Dussander closes the distance and clinches.
Dussander is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Cid pulls him back up using the underhooks.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Cid creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Cid lands a left hand that snaps the head of Dussander backwards.
Cid goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Cid takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Dussander jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cid walks away with a smile on his face. Dussander gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Cid avoids a punch combination nicely.
Dussander fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cid manages to avoid it.
Cid lands a leg kick that knocks Dussander off balance momentarily.
Cid dips to his left and cracks Dussander with an uppercut!
Dussander takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Cid swings for the body but Dussander moves out of range.
Dussander throws a head kick that misses.
Dussander tries to clinch up.

Dussander has closed the distance and engaged Cid in a clinch.

Cid's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Cid turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Cid scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Dussander is rocked!
Jab, jab by Cid - just one landing.
Dussander is still on wobbly legs! Can Cid finish him?
Cid drops Dussander with a naaaaasty hook - Dussander is in real trouble here! Cid dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
