The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wash plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Smith throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wash's waist but Wash gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Smith off to one side.
Wash fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Smith to the ground. Wash is now in Smith's guard.
Smith pushes a forearm under Wash's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Wash is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
