PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rob Dyrdek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sing Na Songkhla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Na Songkhla feints and then cracks Dyrdek's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Dyrdek down.
Dyrdek shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Dyrdek closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dyrdek connects with a nice short shot to Na Songkhla's temple.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Na Songkhla can do anything to dispel that myth.

Dyrdek cracks Na Songkhla with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Dyrdek lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

The referee warns Na Songkhla that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Na Songkhla is still in real trouble! Can Dyrdek finish him?
Dyrdek postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Na Songkhla badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Dyrdek around the waist but Dyrdek pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Dyrdek is the winner by TKO! Dyrdek jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rob Dyrdek!
Rob Dyrdek got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
