Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luther King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Torpedo Frei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luther King could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Torpedo Frei's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frei sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Frei gets tackled into the cage by King. King maintains the clinch.
King goes for a takedown in the clinch but Frei prevents it.
King is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Frei tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Frei pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
King tries for a takedown but Frei sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

King shoots in looking for a takedown but Frei manages to keep the fight standing, pushing King's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Frei dives in and grabs King's left leg, looking for a takedown. King pushes down on Frei's head and hops out.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

King stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and King wants it to stay on the feet.

No joy there for King, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Frei gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Frei jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as King walks away with a smile on his face. Frei gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

King closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
King tries to circle away but Frei has him pinned against the cage.

Frei tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. King just stands there and leans against the cage.

Frei gets a trip takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Frei is breathing heavily.
King manages to get to full guard.

King is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Frei is aware though and is defending well.
King is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Frei avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
King manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Frei is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if King gets his way!

King has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Frei shoots in looking for a takedown but King manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Frei's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

King connects with a nasty looking knee right to Frei's face.
King is pressed up against the cage. Frei has hold of a leg and is looking to drag King down to the mat. King avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Frei slaps away a takedown attempt from King, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Frei shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with King but King pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Frei takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
King closes the distance and clinches up with Frei, looking for a takedown. King pushes Frei against the cage but Frei circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Frei working over King with some ground and pound. King looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
King is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Frei's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Frei's back!

King is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Frei is defending well though. King let's go of the attempt for now.
Frei really doesn't want to stay on the ground with King. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

King is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Frei has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

You can see the frustration on Frei's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
King is not going to allow Frei to sit and survive in this position.

I would just about give that final round to Torpedo Frei.
