Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Rocco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Mica (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rocco wants to take a breather but Mica is having none of it.

Mica escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rocco gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Mica is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Mica uses his free foot to push down on Rocco's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Rocco.
Rocco knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mica on the ground.

Mica has control of Rocco's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Rocco regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's time! Rocco's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Rocco tries to bum rush Mica with a series of wild strikes but Mica uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Rocco decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Mica manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Mica bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rocco's guard.
Mica passes Rocco's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mica is trying for a kimura here. Rocco looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Mica wins by kimura!
