Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between David Cross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Urinus Limberdinkle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cross's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The American Dream Song. Limberdinkle has chosen BLUNT- The Iron Maiden as his entrance music. Urinus Limberdinkle has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cross misses with a body shot.
Cross lands a leg kick that knocks Limberdinkle off balance momentarily.
Cross moves in looking to clinch but Limberdinkle pushes him off.
Limberdinkle defending well as Cross loads up on a big left hand.
Limberdinkle moves forwards but Cross connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Limberdinkle avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Cross scores with a hook to the body. Limberdinkle takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Limberdinkle shoots in looking for a takedown but Cross manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Limberdinkle's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Cross is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Limberdinkle takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Cross throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Cross feints and then cracks Limberdinkle's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Limberdinkle down.

Limberdinkle is trying desperately to land a takedown but Cross is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Limberdinkle.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Limberdinkle gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Cross regains guard.
Cross looking to hit a scissor sweep but Limberdinkle is one step ahead there.
Limberdinkle must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Cross has his foot on Limberdinkle's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Limberdinkle works his way back into a safe position though.

Oh but Cross is tightening it up a little... Limberdinkle has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Limberdinkle reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Limberdinkle taps out! Nice BJJ there by Cross!
