Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Okami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Krakowitsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacob Okami!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yuri Krakowitsky!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okami closes this distance looking for a takedown but Krakowitsky circles away.
Okami fails with a takedown attempt.
Krakowitsky is looking to clinch but Okami is avoiding it.

and Okami decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Krakowitsky's guard.
Okami is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Okami won't allow Krakowitsky to sweep him here.

Krakowitsky is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Okami is aware though and is defending well.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Okami's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Okami lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Okami working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Okami is nestled in close to Krakowitsky, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Okami wants to pass the guard but Krakowitsky is defending well.

Okami tries to free his leg and advance position but Krakowitsky is retaining full guard.

Krakowitsky wants to control but Okami is having none of it.

Okami goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Krakowitsky turns into him and now he's in Okami's guard.
Okami knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Krakowitsky on the ground.
Krakowitsky trying to control the position from guard on top but Okami is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Krakowitsky won't allow Okami to get back to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Okami tries to land a sweep but no joy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jacob Okami dominated that round.
That's time! Okami's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Okami shoots for a double leg takedown but Krakowitsky sprawls well. He's pushed Okami's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Krakowitsky defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Okami.
Krakowitsky tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Okami manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Okami counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Okami shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jacob Okami. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Okami has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Krakowitsky wants to control the position but Okami says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Okami throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Krakowitsky to regain full guard.

Krakowitsky makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Krakowitsky.
Okami wants to control from the top but Krakowitsky keeps moving.
Okami stands up over Krakowitsky, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Okami drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Okami as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Krakowitsky screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Okami! Nice submission victory there!
