The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jersey thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Willemoes if he has to take too many more of those.
Jersey throws a head kick that misses
and Willemoes counters with a straight right hand.
Jersey tries to clinch up.
Jersey lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Willemoes circles away quickly and effectively.

Jersey closes the distance and pushes Willemoes back into the cage.

Jersey lands a shoulder strike.
Willemoes lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Willemoes tries to pull guard but Jersey holds him up against the cage and eventually Willemoes drops back down to his feet.

Jersey manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Willemoes gets control of Jersey's arms and successfully pulls guard. Willemoes will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Willemoes is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jersey defends well.
Jersey postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Willemoes has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jersey is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Willemoes.

Willemoes takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Willemoes is not content to let Jersey control the position.

Jersey works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Willemoes tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jersey wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Jersey is looking to take a break and control but Willemoes is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Willemoes is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jersey's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jersey's back!

Willemoes has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Jersey has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Jersey manages to reverse the position and now he's in Willemoes's guard. Nice work there by Jersey.

and as Willemoes loses concentration momentarily, Jersey counters with a picture perfect head kick! Willemoes goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!
