Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Billy Douglas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Quid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quid is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Wicker Man. Johnny Quid told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
23 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Billy Douglas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
25 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Quid!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Douglas throws a body punch but Quid moves out of range.
Quid is looking to clinch but Douglas is avoiding it.
Quid slips a straight right by Douglas.
Douglas throws a sloppy head kick and Quid moves out of range easily.
Douglas takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Quid throws a push kick but Douglas slaps the foot to one side.
Quid throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Quid dives in and grabs Douglas's left leg, looking for a takedown. Douglas pushes down on Quid's head and hops out.
Douglas fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Quid has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Douglas lands a left and a right that send Quid crashing to the mat, dazed. Douglas thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Johnny Quid has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Douglas misses with an attempted mid kick.
Quid looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Douglas stuns Quid with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Douglas lands a lovely overhand right.
Douglas moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Quid doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Douglas throws out a loose jab but Quid uses good head movement to avoid it.
Douglas goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Quid is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Quid takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Quid misses with a body kick.
A big right from Quid misses.
Quid swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Douglas misses with a head kick.
Douglas looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Danga de danga de dang - Douglas scores with a four punch combination!
Quid is still on wobbly legs! Can Douglas finish him?
The fighters circle, before Douglas throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Quid's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Douglas lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Billy Douglas!
Billy Douglas seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
