Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Da Coach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Markakis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Coach closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Markakis to the mat! Markakis manages to get full guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Markakis trying to control the position.
Coach's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Markakis wants to hit a switch here but Coach passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Markakis there!
Markakis tries to lock up and control but Coach gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Markakis can't escape the position.

Coach is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Markakis is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Markakis flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Coach anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Markakis and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Coach slips an arm under Markakis chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Coach has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Coach is squeezing on Markakis like an anaconda would it's prey. Markakis fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
