Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pons De Leon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kanaali Moskinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pons De Leon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kanaali Moskinen!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

De Leon gets a takedown into half guard.
De Leon looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Moskinen makes his way to full guard, as De Leon worked for a kimura.
De Leon is looking to work some ground and pound but Moskinen has wrist control.
De Leon wants to control from the top but Moskinen keeps moving.

Moskinen is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and De Leon defends well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
De Leon utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Moskinen can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as De Leon controls the pace.

Moskinen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. De Leon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Moskinen has an active guard here but De Leon has managed to pass into half guard.

De Leon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Moskinen keeps working.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



De Leon changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Moskinen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Moskinen sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
De Leon is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. De Leon connects with a nice short shot to Moskinen's temple.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

De Leon winds up and cracks Moskinen with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
De Leon is nestled in close to Moskinen, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

De Leon is just content to waste time from the top position. Moskinen takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

De Leon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moskinen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, De Leon cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Moskinen is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Moskinen wants to control but De Leon is having none of it.
De Leon softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Moskinen is out cold! De Leon jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pons De Leon!
