Clayton comes into the arena with I Want It All blaring out of the sound system. Kevin Raybould has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Clayton fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Raybould sprawls well initially but Clayton persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Clayton sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Raybould defending well though.
Clayton seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Clayton has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Still in half guard, Clayton seems content to control.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Raybould can do anything to dispel that myth.

Raybould tries to kick Clayton off but Clayton keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Clayton is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Raybould is not content to let Clayton control the position.
Raybould really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Clayton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
