Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between arthur spankalot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jouheva joutava (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). joutava has chosen Why cant we be friends as his entrance music. jouheva joutava has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, arthur spankalot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, jouheva joutava!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

spankalot gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
joutava stopping the sweep attempt from spankalot.
spankalot keeping moving, preventing joutava from controlling successfully.

spankalot is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
spankalot trying to control the position.

spankalot has his foot on joutava's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. joutava works his way back into a safe position though.
joutava tries to free his leg and advance position but spankalot is retaining full guard.

joutava drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and joutava jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
joutava wants to control from the top but spankalot keeps moving.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

spankalot gets caught flat footed, as joutava shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
joutava trying to control but spankalot is working from the bottom.
joutava tries to free his leg and advance position but spankalot is retaining full guard.

joutava is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
joutava wants to control from the top but spankalot keeps moving.
joutava sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed spankalot's guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
spankalot holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
spankalot makes his way to full guard. A much better position for spankalot.
spankalot bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in joutava's guard.
joutava is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

spankalot is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but joutava has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. spankalot is looking to defend but joutava has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for spankalot! joutava pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, spankalot taps out and this one is all over!
