The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopkins slips a jab and a cross from Gracie.
Hopkins looks to clinch
and Gracie counters with a two punch combo.
Hopkins stuns Gracie with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Hopkins throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gracie tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hopkins is in Gracie's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Hopkins is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Gracie has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Hopkins is looking to defend but Gracie has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Hopkins! Gracie pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Hopkins taps out and this one is all over!
