The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grimes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Grimes lands a leg kick that knocks Colossus off balance momentarily.
Colossus fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Colossus scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Grimes throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Colossus looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Colossus tries a head kick but it misses.
Grimes throws a chopping leg kick but Colossus manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Grimes throws a leg kick but Colossus sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Colossus throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Grimes sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Colossus steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Grimes. That one must have hurt.
Colossus bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Colossus is looking to clinch but Grimes is avoiding it.
Colossus misses with a looping left.
Grimes feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Colossus's calf.

Grimes throws a lazy right hand but Colossus sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Grimes slips a jab from Colossus.

Colossus tries to clinch there but Grimes circles away.
Colossus misses with a left hand
and Grimes counters with a nice uppercut.
Colossus throws a lazy head kick
and Grimes counters with an inside leg kick.
Grimes uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Colossus.
Colossus throws a hook but Grimes blocks it.
Grimes lands a nice leg kick that just misses Colossus's sensitive parts.
Colossus scores with a jab.
Colossus tries to close the distance and clinch but Grimes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Grimes throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Colossus throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Grimes lands a nice looking body kick.
Colossus is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Grimes steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Colossus.
No joy there for Colossus, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Colossus checks a leg kick nicely.
Grimes moves away from the strike by Colossus.

A low kick from Colossus misses
and Grimes counters with a solid body kick.
Good shot there by Grimes.
That kick from Grimes tenderised Colossus's leg. Colossus is trying to keep his angry face on.
Grimes looks to throw the jab but Colossus is out of range.
Grimes tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Grimes is looking to slow Colossus down with leg kicks.

Jt Colossus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Grimes cracks Colossus with a left hook right on the temple and Colossus goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Grimes lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Colossus is OK!
