Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Dunham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Albert Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dunham comes to the cage accompanied by Im forever blowing bubbles. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Drake forces Dunham back against the cage and clinches.
Dunham is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Let's hope that Drake has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Albert Drake hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Drake gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Dunham creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Drake's defenses.

With the fighters up against the cage, Dunham throws an elbow but misses.
Drake tries to pull guard but Dunham holds him up against the cage and eventually Drake drops back down to his feet.

Drake jumps into guard, dragging Dunham to the mat.

Dunham gets to his feet. Drake looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

and Drake holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Drake sends Dunham crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Drake is motioning to the referee to let Dunham up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Oh Dunham is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

It looks like Steve Dunham has been cut.

Dunham glances at the clock... BAM! Drake nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Dunham crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Dunham is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

Albert Drake decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
