Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Philip Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddell comes to the cage accompanied by It's Dark and Hell Is Hot. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gray moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Chuck Liddell has been cut.
Liddell is looking to clinch but Gray is avoiding it.

Liddell moves into the clinch.
Gray is trying to drag Liddell to the mat but Liddell just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Gray wants the takedown. Liddell is fighting it off but Gray persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Liddell's guard against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Gray postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oh Liddell is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gray postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Liddell covers up, he's hurt! Gray keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Gray and the ref steps in to end the fight! Gray can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
