The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Steven Brown and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Parris drives through and clinches with Hart against the cage.

Hart shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Parris's guard.
Hart stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Parris swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hart has Parris pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Hart pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Parris tumbling to the mat - Hart dives into Parris's guard.

Hart has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Parris clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Hart gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Parris rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hart moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Parris doesn't manage to clinch there - Hart circles away.

Hart throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Parris tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hart is in Parris's guard.

Hart wants to control from the top but Parris keeps moving.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Hart thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Hart pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Parris is keeping the position for now.

Hart shoots in and bounces Parris off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Elliot Hart hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Parris tries to land a front kick but Hart steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
