Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gen Anduw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rickson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Silva's choice of entrance music: system of a down - violent pornography. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anduw blocks a head kick by Silva.
Anduw works Silva's body with a nice hook.
Anduw throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Silva throws a combination that misses
and Anduw counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Anduw lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Anduw scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Silva doesn't seem bothered though.

Anduw throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Silva.

Gen Anduw has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rickson Silva.

Silva is trying desperately to land a takedown but Anduw is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Silva.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Anduw pulls out of a head kick attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Anduw throws a hook to the side of Silva's head but Silva sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Gen Anduw is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Silva takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Gen Anduw is winning the standup battle so far.
Silva avoids the head kick by Anduw.

Anduw slips a jab and a cross from Silva.
Anduw throws a head kick that misses.
Anduw lands a head kick!
Anduw lands a right hook to the body.

Silva drops Anduw with a left and a right! Oh, Anduw is hurt - Silva dives into side control looking to finish!

It looks like Gen Anduw has been cut.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Silva tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Silva is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Anduw knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Silva creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Anduw sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rickson Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Gen Anduw's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Silva jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Anduw misses with a body kick.
Anduw lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Silva at a distance.
Silva falls off balance throwing a combination
and Anduw counters with a left and a right that stings Silva.

Anduw throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Silva stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Anduw listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Anduw throws a sloppy body shot
and Silva counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Silva has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Anduw finds it's way round the side to connect with Silva's head.

Anduw takes a swing at Silva's ribcage but misses.

Silva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Silva drops back, looking for a kneebar! Anduw looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Anduw looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Anduw!
Silva tries to improve position but can't.
Silva is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Silva is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Anduw's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Anduw's back!

Silva is looking for the choke from the back position but Anduw is controlling his hands well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Anduw trying to control the position but Silva manages to sink in the hooks.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Anduw is trying to stand back up.
Silva throws strikes from the back but Anduw rolls nicely and manages to end up in full guard. Nice work by Anduw.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Rickson Silva.
I think Silva has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
