Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Iain Durrant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jay Walker enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 24 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Iain Durrant!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jay Walker!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Fedor Mirinova and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durrant misses the jab.
Durrant swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Walker lands a lovely overhand right.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Iain Durrant.
Durrant tries for a takedown but Walker sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Walker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Durrant moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Walker throws a combination. Durrant tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Walker ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Durrant swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Walker is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Durrant.
Durrant throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Walker on the side of the head.
Walker throws a jab but it's blocked by Durrant.
Durrant thuds a left hand into Walker's body.
Durrant has his takedown stuffed
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Durrant shoots for a double leg takedown but Walker sprawls well. He's pushed Durrant's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Horrible takedown by Durrant or perhaps it was just good defense by Walker which made him look bad.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Walker stuns Durrant with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Iain Durrant will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Durrant changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Walker tries to avoid it but Durrant manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Walker to the ground. Walker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Durrant shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Walker but Walker pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Oh Durrant is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Durrant tries to score a power double leg takedown but Walker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Durrant somewhat.

Durrant lands a right hook to the body.
Walker lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Walker moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
A head kick misses from Durrant.
Walker connects with a body shot that sends Durrant's belly button to the back.
Durrant looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Durrant takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Durrant feints a jab promting Walker to slip. Durrant then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Walker slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Walker bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Durrant's head backwards.
Durrant shoots in looking for a takedown but Walker manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Durrant's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Durrant takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Durrant might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Walker is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Walker lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Durrant!
Walker lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jay Walker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Durrant's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Walker throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Durrant scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Walker lands with a hook. Durrant tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Walker is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Durrant lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Walker circles away quickly and effectively.
Durrant tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

It's a brutal combination of punches from Walker! Durrant is backing up but he can't get away as Walker lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Durrant and ends the fight. Great knockout.
