Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Congo Ashantie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frankestein Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ashantie might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Congo Ashanti. Mir has chosen STOMP!!! by The Brothers Johnson!!! as his entrance music. Frankestein Mir has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ashantie scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Mir takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Ashantie tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mir was well out of range. Poor timing from Ashantie.

Mir throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Ashantie paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ashantie ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Mir shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mir showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Mir shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ashantie as he jumps to the side.

Mir misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Ashantie.
Mir wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Ashantie breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close second round but I would say that Congo Ashantie will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ashantie is on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mir has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ashantie can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Mir wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Frankestein Mir has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The ref stands the fighters back up because Congo Ashantie just wasn't active enough.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mir unloads with some shots from mount but Ashantie bucks and avoids them well.

Mir jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Ashantie is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Ashantie and Mir has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Ashantie sneaks out the side door and pushes Mir away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Ashantie throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Mir lands with an uppercut that bounces Ashantie off the cage and back into range.

I would just about give that final round to Frankestein Mir.
