The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mullen moves away from the strike by McLean.
McLean misses with a right hand
and Mullen counters with a left to the body.
Mullen fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Mullen lands with a thumping leg kick.
McLean tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Mullen checks a leg kick.
Mullen delivers a nice body kick.

Mullen closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. McLean did well to prevent Mullen getting side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

McLean is refusing to be controlled, as Mullen sits in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mullen perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
McLean makes his way to full guard. A much better position for McLean.

Mullen stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! McLean throws up his legs and catches Mullen in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Mullen tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by McLean! That came out of nowhere!
