Archer comes to the cage accompanied by Predator Theme. The crowd seem to be enjoying Perry's choice of entrance music: Run For Cover. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Archer throws the kick towards the body but Perry avoids it.
Nice body punch from Perry.
Archer fails in his attempt to clinch.
Perry moves out of range of the body kick from Archer.
Mason Archer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Perry fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Archer manages to avoid it.
Perry takes one to the side of the head.

It looks like Mason Archer has been cut.
Archer motions for Perry to come forward. Archer throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Perry fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Archer checks it well.

Perry changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Archer tries to avoid it but Perry manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Archer to the ground. Archer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Perry closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Perry lands in his opponent's guard.

Perry is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
