The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teixeira throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hadith throws a good cross that connects.
Hadith misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hadith connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Hadith lands with a nice combination. Teixeira backs away looking to recover.
Teixeira takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Teixeira takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Teixeira takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Hadith scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Teixeira darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Hadith pushes Teixeira off and gets back to his feet.
Hadith punishes Teixeira's body with a nice straight punch.
Teixeira takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Sunnah Hadith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Teixeira takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Hadith shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Teixeira takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Hadith sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Teixeira bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
