The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nile lands with a good body shot.
Meridius ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nile moves away.
Nile takes a swing at Meridius's ribcage but misses.
Meridius misses with a two punch combination.
Meridius swinging wildly here.
Meridius misses with a series of wild punches.
Meridius throws the left hand but Nile avoids the punch easily.
Nile uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Meridius.
Nile connects with an inside leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nile keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
