The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moninov shoots for a takedown but Reke saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Reke misses with a few strikes there.
Moninov misses with a takedown attempt - Reke sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Reke enables Moninov to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Reke manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Moninov controlling from the top position.
Moninov could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Reke working for submissions but it's allowed Moninov to get to half guard.
Reke is looking to control Moninov's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Reke avoid being mounted?

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moninov seems to be looking for submissions.
Reke controlling the position well.
Reke is trying to stand up here but Moninov is controlling him well.

Moninov has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Reke defend it? Moninov steps over the head and cranks it - Reke is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Moninov!
