Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alaskan Assassin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven McTowlie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Assassin's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Skrillex - Summit. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McTowlie keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
McTowlie looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
McTowlie tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

It looks like Alaskan Assassin has been cut.
McTowlie lands a nice shot to the body.
Assassin shoots in for a takedown but McTowlie shows good takedown defense.
Assassin closes the distance and clinches up with McTowlie, looking for a takedown. Assassin pushes McTowlie against the cage but McTowlie circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alaskan Assassin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Assassin on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McTowlie shoots in and drives through. Assassin sprawls well.

Assassin takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

McTowlie fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Assassin avoids it really well and circles away.

Assassin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Assassin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Assassin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Assassin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Assassin drops back looking for a leg! McTowlie is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McTowlie manages to kick Assassin off! Assassin jumps back into McTowlie's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Assassin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McTowlie wants to sweep here but Assassin controlling him for the moment.

Assassin drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Assassin as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! McTowlie screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Assassin! Nice submission victory there!
