Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Warrock Warner!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ray Richardson!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warner stuffs the takedown.

Warner gets the takedown into side control.
Richardson manages to get back to half guard.

Richardson kicks off Warner and gets to his feet.
Warner fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Richardson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Warner.

and Richardson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Warner's guard now.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Richardson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Richardson stands and steps away. Warner gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Richardson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Warner.
Richardson throws a right hand that Warner ducks under and follows up with a left that Warner also avoids with ease.

Richardson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Warner's guard.
Richardson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Richardson creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Richardson connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Warner some visible discomfort.

Richardson content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Warner takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Richardson wants to control but Warner is keeping him busy.

A big shot lands for Richardson! That's hurt Warner! Will he recover? Richardson fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
