The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moore drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Angelez could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Angelez has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Moore off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

and Angelez counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Angelez drives through with a takedown into Moore's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Moore shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Angelez counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Angelez gets a double leg takedown into Moore's guard.
Angelez is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Dan Angelez wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Angelez tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

No luck for Moore with that takedown attempt.

Moore really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Angelez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Angelez is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Moore will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Angelez seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Moore for as long as he can get away with.

Angelez has hold of Moore's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Moore seems comfortable defending it but Angelez has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Moore is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Moore is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Angelez couldn't care less - he's delighted!
