Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sasmuki Lombardi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryo Ishizaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lombardi comes to the cage accompanied by Uver world rush. Ishizaki is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Hiroyuki Okita - Moete Hero. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ishizaki closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lombardi circles away.

Ishizaki has hold of Lombardi's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Lombardi manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lombardi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Ishizaki is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Lombardi can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
