Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mischievous Loki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Kyzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Loki decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Loki throwing shots but Kyzer is blocking nicely.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Loki connects with a nice short shot to Kyzer's temple.
Loki misses with a head shot. Kyzer uses the momentum to regain guard.
Loki won't allow Kyzer to get back to his feet.
Loki chips away with some ground and pound.
Loki wants to control from the top but Kyzer keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Chris Kyzer was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Loki throws out a loose jab but Kyzer uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Loki counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Mischievous Loki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Kyzer.
Kyzer bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Loki's guard.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

We're going to have a standup here because Mischievous Loki wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Kyzer is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Loki missing with a left hand there. Kyzer was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Loki connects with a crisp jab.
Kyzer tries to clinch but Loki is having none of it.
Loki throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kyzer sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Loki uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kyzer has time to react.
A looping hook to the body misses from Loki. Kyzer does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Kyzer moves into the clinch.

Kyzer is pressed up against the cage. Loki has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kyzer down to the mat. Kyzer avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Kyzer tries to clinch but Loki is having none of it.
Loki misses with a hook. Kyzer ducked under it nicely.
Loki lands a nice hook to Kyzer's body. Kyzer takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Kyzer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Loki tries to avoid it but Kyzer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Loki to the ground. Loki escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kyzer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

and Kyzer counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kyzer.
Loki is trying to stall.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mischievous Loki dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Loki connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kyzer. Kyzer circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Kyzer ducks right into an uppercut from Loki.
Kyzer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Loki sprawls well. Loki wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kyzer gets slowly back to his feet.

Kyzer tries to reverse the position but Loki maintains control.
Loki trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Loki postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Kyzer in real trouble here! The ref calls for Kyzer to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
