Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Rollins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Rollins. No joy for Hill on that attempt.
Hill throws a series of punches but Rollins avoids them all with ease.

Hill closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rollins did well to prevent Hill getting side control.

Hill wants to take the fight to the mat but Rollins manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Rollins ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Rollins no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Hill is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Rollins is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Hill moves out of range as Rollins throws a body kick.

and Rollins connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Rollins with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hill to score with a decent uppercut.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close round but I would say that Dennis Hill will probably get the nod.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Rollins content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Rollins jumps guard but Hill turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Hill jabs Rollins right on the nose. Rollins blinks but takes it well.
Rollins shoots in and drives through. Hill sprawls well.

Rollins tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hill paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hill throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Rollins throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Rollins lands a right hook to the body.

Hill tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rollins swats him away and circles back towards the center.

No joy there for Hill, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Hill tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rollins sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hill somewhat.

Hill lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rollins at a distance.

and Hill counters with a three punch combo that has Rollins backing up. Rollins nods at Hill to acknowledge the strikes.

Rollins tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hill throws a combination. Rollins tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Hill tries to bum rush Rollins with a series of wild strikes but Rollins uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dennis Hill.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hill, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
