Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Skank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Skank comes to the cage accompanied by The Professionals. The crowd seem to be enjoying Barnes's choice of entrance music: Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be. The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Skank dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Barnes. That did some damage!
Barnes throws a half hearted mid kick.
Barnes swings for the body but Skank moves out of range.
Barnes is looking to slow Skank down with leg kicks.
Skank thows a leg kick but Barnes checks it
and Barnes counters with a big head kick but Skank shrugs it off.
A head kick misses from Barnes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Skank tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Skank moves out of range of the strikes.
Skank feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Barnes's calf.
Good leg kick by Skank there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

and Skank counters with a low kick, right behind Barnes 's knee.
Skank ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

and Skank counters with a stiff right hand.
Skank lands with a thumping leg kick.
Skank lands a nice leg kick that just misses Barnes's sensitive parts.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Skank.
Barnes throws a low kick but Skank moves out of range easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Skank blocks a head kick by Barnes.
Skank lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Nate Barnes has been cut.
Barnes thows a leg kick but Skank checks it
and Skank counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Barnes looks gassed!
Skank fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Barnes has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Skank.
Skank connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Barnes wants to slow Skank down by chopping away at his legs.
Skank knocks Barnes to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
Barnes is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Skank taking a breather here.
Barnes is still in real trouble! Can Skank finish him?
Skank works to advance to full mount. Barnes defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Barnes is wriggling around trying to escape.
Barnes seems to have recovered his senses.
Skank looking to control and managing it successfully.
Barnes regains half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Skank is controlling the pace.
Nice strikes from Skank there.
Skank throwing shots but Barnes is blocking nicely.
Skank is thwarting Barnes's attempts to control the position.
Skank seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Barnes is trying to get back to full guard.

Skank takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Skank wants to control the pace but Barnes is squirming around nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Barnes counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Billy Skank has been cut.
Barnes lands a leg kick that knocks Skank off balance momentarily.
Skank scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Barnes fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Skank.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Barnes lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Skank takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Skank.
Some bone on bone action there as Skank checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Barnes's jab looks to have found its range, popping Skank under the eye.

Barnes steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Skank. That one must have hurt.

and Skank counters with an inside leg kick.
Skank throws a leg kick that misses.
Barnes pivots, looking for a leg kick but Skank is out of range and Barnes settles back down.
Barnes attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Skank misses with a body kick.
Barnes fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Skank.
Barnes throws a quick head kick that knocks Skank silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Barnes is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Nate Barnes!
Nate Barnes took his opportunity to call for a title shot in his post fight interview.
