Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jones motions for Chaka to come forward. Jones throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Jones catches Chaka with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

It looks like Buan Chaka has been cut.
Chaka throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Chaka wants to land a leg kick but Jones is out of range.
Jones fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Chaka shoots in but no luck this time.

Chaka tries for a takedown but Jones sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Buan Chaka. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Chaka as he avoids it easily.
Nathan Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones tries to bum rush Chaka with a series of wild strikes but Chaka uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Chaka fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jones sprawls well initially but Chaka persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Chaka stops Jones from getting back to his feet.
Jones looks gassed!

Jones on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Jones is looking to get back to is feet but Chaka passes into side control.
Chaka connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Jones some visible discomfort.

Jones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Chaka lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Chaka unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Jones wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Chaka celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
