The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harrison tries to land a front kick but Wash steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Harrison wants to clinch.
Harrison tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Wash manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Wash avoids a punch combination nicely.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Wash looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Harrison throws a strike but Wash rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Harrison controls Wash momentarily but Wash frees himself.
Harrison is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Wash must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Harrison quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Wash has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Harrison celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
