The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Walker throws a lazy right hand but Birmington sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Walker throws the left hand but Birmington avoids the punch easily.
Birmington ducks under a wild hook from Walker.
Walker lands with a good body shot.
Walker lands a nice shot that snaps Birmington's head back.
Nice defenses there by Birmington.
Birmington throws a right and a left that both miss.
Birmington ducks under a wild hook from Walker.
Walker misses with a looping right.
Birmington on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Brian Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Birmington drops his hands momentarily and Walker takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Walker catches Birmington with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Birmington ducks right into an uppercut from Walker.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Walker lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Birmington circles away quickly and effectively.
Walker scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Walker stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Walker loads up on a big right hand but Birmington slips the punch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Birmington doesn't manage to clinch there - Walker circles away.
Walker slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Walker looks to land a left hand but Birmington moved out of range nicely.
Walker misses with an uppercut
and Birmington counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Brian Walker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Walker has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
