The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
PoopyPants displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mattenbauer throws out the jab.
Mattenbauer connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Mattenbauer misses with a looping right.
Mattenbauer jabbing away but nothing is landing.
PoopyPants throws a sloppy body shot
and Mattenbauer connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mattenbauer is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by PoopyPants.
PoopyPants throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mattenbauer stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Mattenbauer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but PoopyPants was well out of range. Poor timing from Mattenbauer.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

PoopyPants throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Mattenbauer looks to throw the jab but PoopyPants is out of range.
Mattenbauer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
PoopyPants fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mattenbauer looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
PoopyPants throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Mattenbauer is looking to clinch but PoopyPants is avoiding it.

Mattenbauer is rocked!
PoopyPants cracks Mattenbauer with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Mattenbauer tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but PoopyPants pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Mattenbauer is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
