Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bryan Ewer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joe Macconi!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Shimada and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macconi dives in and grabs Ewer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ewer pushes down on Macconi's head and hops out.
Horrible takedown by Ewer or perhaps it was just good defense by Macconi which made him look bad.

Macconi decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Macconi tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Ewer.

and Macconi counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Ewer's guard now.
